THE PERRiS is an experimental web3·native band founded by three digital musicians, each one representing a different community such as BAYC, PEACEFUL GROUPIES and DEADFELLAZ.
They’re here to revolutionize the way music is recorded and distributed.
On their first and self·titled album, every instrumental loop is recorded by real humans and then randomized and structured by the “AlgoRythm”, the latest technology in the music industry.
ABOUT MUSIC
For their first album, THE PERRiS have composed, recorded, sampled and manually selected all the sounds they used. From drums, to guitars, synths and basses.
Then, using the AlgoRythm, they randomized and structured all the loops in a way they’re never out of tune or tempo. And at the same time, separating them in 5 different genres; Hip-Hop, Lo-Fi, House, Trap and Indie.
Thanks to this techonology, albums can now be recorded as a whole sonic aesthetic instead of being just a compilation of songs made separately from each other. It allows them to have thousands of variations of the same track, making all of them different yet still unique.
ABOUT ART
The visual side of this new album was created by KiDD, an argentinian designer & illustrator.
The art was carefully designed by KiDD and curated by the whole team in order to bring the timeless and iconic look THE PERRiS deserve.
He portrays the band’s world as a beautiful mixture between crazy psychedelic patterns and the relaxing cuteness of pastel colors.
There’s 6 different album designs, five corresponding to each genre and a super rare one for the Special Songs.
ABOUT NFTs
NFTs are a fresh way to change the relationship between a band and its audience.
That’s why THE PERRiS is being released as a digital collectible, to get closer to the fans, to know them better, interact, share and truly make them part of the process.
The whole album* is being released under the CC0 terms (no rights reserved) in order for the community to get involved as much as possible. Sing over it or set the beat on fire with your freestyle, sample and chop it to create new sounds or do your own remixes, you have complete freedom!
